Allied Universal Special Police offer multiple contracts across the state with job security and the ability to experience different aspects of policing. As a **Sworn Police Officer** , you will serve and safeguard clients in the county facilities as a Police Officer located in and around the area of **Raleigh, NC** . **Position Type: Full Time** **Pay Rate: $33.84 / Hour** **Job Schedule:** **Day** **Time** Tue12:00 AM - 07:00 AM Wed12:00 AM - 07:00 AM Thur12:00 AM - 07:00 AM Fri12:00 AM - 07:00 AM Sat12:00 AM - 07:00 AM **Responsibilities:** + Provide police services to our clients by carrying out safety and police procedures, and when appropriate, emergency response activities + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner + Conduct regular and random patrols in and around the schools and perimeter. **Minimum Requirements:** + Be at least **21 years** of age with high school diploma or equivalent + Must possess or can obtain a state driver's license, as well as be a US citizen for the state which you are applying + Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional and effective manner + Must be **certified (sworn) as a police officer, have a BLET Certificate, or a state Law Enforcement Certification to be considered.** + Out-of-state candidates must have completed a Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) course accredited by the state from which they are transferring and two years of full-time, sworn law enforcement experience.
