Job Overview:
The Software Engineer IV will oversee the development, modification, and maintenance of applications. This role involves monitoring system applications to ensure smooth operations, creating reports, and documenting findings and solutions. The position is part of the Technology department and requires a high level of expertise in software engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and installation of new hardware and software.
• Provide advice and recommendations to management on processes and techniques for improved operations.
• Install and configure systems and other software.
• Test installed software to detect malfunctions.
• Identify and resolve business systems issues.
• Design and deploy new applications and enhance existing applications, software, and operating systems.
• Measure the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve systems.
• Monitor and test system performance.
• Oversee the training of junior engineers to enhance job skills and efficiency.
• Take full ownership of processes and act as a procedural expert.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Seven (7) years of experience in software engineering.

Skills and Competencies:

• Ability to collaborate with programmers, developers, and other technology professionals to achieve common objectives.
• Proficiency in conducting system analysis to detect performance issues.
• Capability to develop and implement technology solutions to resolve technical challenges.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of software testing techniques, code optimization, and software debugging.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional executional capabilities.
• Thorough understanding of software structures, hardware, computing systems, and their integration
• Must have:
• Experience with .NET, NodeJS, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in AWS, with the ability to demonstrate experience through a portfolio or certification.
• Expertise in CI/CD processes, with a passion for build and deploy automation.
• Strong observability skills, including the ability to instrument and review telemetry.
• Commitment to automated testing and ensuring code quality.

Pay Range: $70 - $80

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
