Associate Clinical Director (BCBA)

Clinic-Based | Full-Time | $130,000–$160,000/year (base + performance bonus)
Support clinical quality, mentor developing clinicians, and help families access meaningful, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE) is hiring an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to serve as Associate Clinical Director in our Durham clinic. This leadership role includes clinical oversight, team development, and a reduced personal caseload.
Position Details
Location: Durham, NC (clinic-based)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, consistent daytime hours
Employment Type: Full-time, in-person
Total Compensation: $130,000–$160,000/year (base salary + performance bonus)
Reports To: Regional Clinical Leadership

What You’ll Do
- Supervise and mentor BCBAs, RBTs, Behavior Technicians, and trainees
- Guide caregiver coaching to promote skill generalization
- Review treatment plans, data, documentation, and session fidelity
- Manage a reduced personal caseload while supporting clinic needs
- Participate in performance reviews and clinical competency development
- Support supervision requirements in alignment with BACB guidelines
- Contribute to professional development and training initiatives
- Collaborate on clinic process improvements and best practice implementation
- Model a culture of compassion, accountability, and clinical excellence

Qualifications
Required:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field
- 3+ years of ABA experience working with children with autism
- Strong clinical decision-making and documentation skills
Preferred:
- Prior supervision or leadership experience in a clinic environment
Compensation & Benefits
Total Compensation: $130,000–$160,000/year (base + bonus)

Requirements
- At least 3 years of BCBA experience is required
- BCBA Certification: Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis, per BACB guidelines
- Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis or related field
- Experience working with children on the autism spectrum and other developmental disabilities
- Passionate about clinical quality and client progress to drive decision-making and best practices
- Exceptional skillset with leadership, time management, and observation
- Strong analytical thinker who is data-driven and client-centered
- Effective Collaborator and team player, who is empathetic and culturally competent
- Protect clients’ rights and privacy according to HIPAA regulations
