Dermatology Medical Assistant - Charlotte, NC (Springbank)

QualDerm Partners is looking for a skilled and compassionate Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team at the Springbank location in Charlotte, NC. As a Dermatology Medical Assistant at our Charlotte Springbank location, you will be an integral part of the clinical team, assisting with patient care and ensuring efficient clinical and office operations. Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and collecting detailed medical histories.
• Assist physicians with examinations and dermatological procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment is ready.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests and handle specimen preparation for lab analysis.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage office communications efficiently.
• Provide patient education related to treatments, medications, and appropriate skincare techniques.
• Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with required supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical healthcare setting is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, particularly dermatology-related terms.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and standard office software is preferred.
