Givens Estates is looking for a Life Enrichment Associate to support our Life Enrichment team! This Life Enrichment Associate supports resident engagement, independence, and quality of life by providing safe, reliable, and courteous transportation for residents to on-campus and off-campus programs, appointments, events, and outings. This position works 3-4 days per week, up to 16 hours. Occasional weekend and evening availability is preferred.

What you'll do:

• Safely transport residents to and from on-campus and off-campus destinations in compliance with all applicable laws and Givens Estates policies
• Safely operate wheelchair lifts and properly secure mobility devices using approved tie-down systems
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report safety or maintenance concerns
• Maintain cleanliness and general condition of assigned vehicles
• Assist residents with boarding, exiting, seating, and mobility needs as appropriate while maintaining dignity and comfort
• Assist with life enrichment events on an as-needed basis
• Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor

What you'll need:

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger (P) endorsement, preferred but not required
• Must meet and maintain all medical, safety, and regulatory requirements associated with operating commercial passenger vehicles
• Comfortable working closely with older adults on a broad spectrum of abilities

Compensation is based on background and experience
