Production Machinery Operator - Component Assembly Specialist

About the Role

We’re hiring a skilled operator for our Newton, NC 28658 facility to keep our 3rd shift production running smoothly. You’ll assemble components, operate equipment, and uphold quality and safety in a fast-moving environment.

Location & Schedule

• Worksite: Newton, North Carolina (28658)
• Schedule: 3rd shift

What You’ll Do

• Execute assembly and machining tasks per documented procedures and standards.
• Read and interpret work orders to determine specifications and steps.
• Inspect materials and parts for defects prior to assembly.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and production machinery to build components.
• Operate equipment safely, efficiently, and according to guidelines.
• Confirm finished products meet all specifications and quality criteria.
• Keep your work area organized and clean.
• Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
• Contribute to assembly processes and overall productivity goals.
• Escalate equipment or process issues to the appropriate personnel.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to interpret work orders accurately
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and machinery
• Basic understanding of quality control
• Team-focused communication skills
• Comfort in a fast-paced, target-driven setting
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs as needed
