Requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this PositionROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As an electrical engineer for UMS, youll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing complex undersea communication systems.

- Experience with design, development, and testing of analog and High Voltage electronic systems and components.
- This includes leading designs, guiding junior engineers, leading design reviews and ensuring the performance and reliability of our undersea systems.
- Key responsibilities involve circuit design, simulation, prototyping, and collaboration with cross-functional technology teams.

- Expert level understanding of electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design
