Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach activities to increase candidate flow and hiring pipeline.
- Attend career fairs, hiring events, trade school events, ROC events, Goodwill programs, workforce development events, and community networking opportunities.
- Build relationships with local organizations, schools, workforce agencies, and industry partners.
- Visit supply houses, community organizations, and other strategic locations to promote company opportunities.
- Develop creative grassroots recruiting ideas and outreach campaigns.
- Coordinate participation in hiring events and career fairs across all office locations.
- Work with managers and recruiting teams to determine staffing needs and hiring priorities.
- Coordinate event logistics, scheduling, booth setup, and recruiting materials.
- Partner with marketing to get swag, flyers, banners, and promotional materials.
- Maintain knowledge of company positions, pay ranges, career paths, and job responsibilities.
- Promote open roles and communicate company culture and opportunities to potential candidates.
- Assist recruiters with candidate generation and lead follow-up.
- Track outreach activity, candidate leads, and event effectiveness.
- Work closely with Recruiting, HR, Operations Managers, and Marketing teams.
- Provide feedback on market trends, candidate availability, and recruiting opportunities.
- Other HR related duties as assigned by the Human Resources Manager from time to time as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience in recruiting.
- Experience in recruiting, sales, marketing, community outreach, staffing, or business development preferred.
- Minimum two years experience as a Recruiter or equivalent position.
- Previous experience in mechanical construction is preferred.
- Solid understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes and best practices
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other HR software.
- Strong knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable speaking with large groups and networking in the community.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
- Ability to travel regularly between office locations and outreach events.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop new recruiting ideas and partnerships.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic recruiting technology.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Physical Demands: Constant sitting, walking short distances, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching above and/or below shoulder, handling/grasping documents or office equipment, clear speaking and adequate hearing sufficient to communicate effectively and respond appropriately in-person and/or on the telephone, vision sufficient to read source materials and computer screen data, repetitive motions for computer equipment use, lift 25 lbs. occasionally, 5-10 lbs. frequently to lift/carry/move objects, files and documents.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.
Work Environment: Work is performed in an office environment with air conditioning and bright lights.
