Auditor (CPA)
We are looking for a meticulous audit professional to join our growing assurance team in Lexington, North Carolina. This position focuses on performing high-quality financial reviews for nonprofit and public sector clients while supporting transparency and regulatory compliance. The role is suited for a candidate with solid auditing knowledge who enjoys structured financial analysis, risk evaluation, and collaborative client service.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute financial assurance and compliance audits for nonprofit and public sector clients in Lexington, North Carolina.
- Review accounting records, documentation, and operational processes to ensure accuracy and regulatory alignment.
- Assess risk exposure and evaluate effectiveness of internal control systems.
- Assist in audit planning, fieldwork execution, and final report preparation.
- Communicate audit results, observations, and improvement recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to maintain reporting quality.
- Monitor regulatory updates affecting nonprofit and government auditing practices.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of auditing experience, preferably including nonprofit and government audit exposure.
- CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and professional auditing standards.
- Ability to analyze financial statements and identify operational risks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple audit assignments simultaneously.
- High level of accuracy, organization, and independent problem-solving ability.
