Your Role:
Entering as a Rail Vehicle Assembly Expert, you'll employ your skills in our Lexington facility, crafting the passenger and rail vehicles of the future. Engage in diverse tasks that push the boundaries of mechanical and electrical assembly.
Responsibilities Include:
- Constructing and integrating various components such as roofs and cable harnesses in rail vehicles.
- Skillfully assembling and aligning structural parts including windows and doors.
- Implementing mechanical systems like insulation and seating components.
- Connecting and routing electrical systems with precision.
- Refurbishing and mending components as part of continuous improvement.
- Converting designs from blueprints into functional assemblies.
- Exercising fine motor skills for detailed assembly work.
Candidate Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience in similar environments valued.
- Clear communication in English is a must.
- Blueprint reading experience beneficial.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to perform frequent physical activities such as climbing and lifting.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
- Requires distinct vision capabilities.
