Schedule/Hours:

• Varied shifts based on unit needs (details to be discussed upon interview).

Qualifications:

• Current RN license; BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of recent MedSurg/Tele experience
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation and experience with non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone)
• Proficient in IV starts, blood product administration, wound care, and caring for patients with tubes/drains
• Comfortable caring for hematology/oncology populations (no chemo administration required unless certified)
• Open to floating within facilities in the region as needed
• First-time travelers accepted

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care for a diverse population with diagnoses such as ESRD, CHF, pneumonia, diabetic complications, and more
• Manage a patient caseload of 5-6, with possible critical surge ratios
• Collaborate closely with CNAs, case managers, clinical nurse specialists, and a full interdisciplinary support team
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and cutting-edge equipment like Alaris IV pumps and Omnicell med dispensers
• Float to other designated regional units as required
