Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify identification, visitor credentials, and/or delivery activity while following site-specific screening and entry procedures.
• Support cash handling and other sensitive operational areas through visible presence, heightened awareness, and timely communication with site contacts and/or local responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
