As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Clinton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license, and you will respond to calls for service, document activity, and work as part of a team that values integrity, reliability, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas, completing routine checks and documenting observations per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, providing scene control, and coordinating with site leadership and responding public agencies as directed.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification and authorization, screen for prohibited items as required, and help to maintain orderly entry, exit, and internal movement within controlled areas.
• Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and required documentation, and maintain assigned equipment and firearms in accordance with Allied Universal training, licensing requirements, and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
