Staff Accountant POST NUMBER: 473263
- Assist with monthly and year-end close activities, including consolidation of financial results across entities
- Prepare and record journal entries as part of the close process
- Analyze income statement activity and investigate variances
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Research and apply appropriate accounting treatment for transactions in accordance with U.S. GAAP and internal guidelines
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within accounting operations
- Support the development and documentation of accounting procedures and internal controls
- Assist with various accounting initiatives, including audit readiness and lease accounting activities
- Collaborate with external auditors and support audit-related requests
- Provide support on additional projects and responsibilities as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA designation or progress toward certification is a plus
- 0–2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
- Foundational knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
- Exposure to general ledger accounting, close processes, or lease accounting is preferred
