Our new client operates two large-scale advanced manufacturing facilities in Central Texas. These sites support 24/7 production of highly specialized technology components used across multiple industries. The campuses include clean-room environments, engineering labs, and high-volume production lines that require a diverse, skilled workforce.
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and driven Operations Shift Supervisor to join our Clean and Repair Parts Operations team. This role is responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing and/or system operations, such as working with engineers to set-up and operations tasks, systems support, process failure analysis, documenting/following standard operating procedures, as well as supply chain management optimization. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate quality and supply chain data to conduct in-line adjustments to repaired or cleaned parts. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the quality management or SCM process. Requires compliance with all health, safety and environmental management, system guidelines.
Job Description
- Supervise warehouse quality technicians working in our cleanroom parts distribution center.
- Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating department operations which pertain to their team.
- Identify and distribute BKM’s within the shift and across other shifts.
- Work amongst your reports on the floor to better connect with personnel and operations.
- Create end of shift pass downs for each area. Receive incoming pass Dows and set up your day accordingly.
- Assure that items passed down to your shift get closed out.
- Write and conduct employee performance reviews.
- Work with your employees through their Individual Development plans. Assure progress in their training and certifications.
- Drive continuous improvement activities on shift.
- Prepares work schedules and assigns specific duties
- Establishes and implements team or departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with appropriate parties.
- Determines staffing requirements in conjunction with Human Resources and participates in recruiting processes such as phone screening and interviewing

- Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and resolve technical problems

- Communicates detailed plans for work assignments and is first point of contact for issues that arise on the team.
- Provide training, mentoring, performance improvement and career development to personnel.
- Connect employee and the shifts performance with data.
- Identify and communicate status, successes, and road blocks to management

Education/Training/Certifications
- Associates degree or military equivalent required. Will also accept 4 years of supervisory experience.
Additional Requirements
- Shift Time: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Pay rate
- $40-50 per hour, based on experience, skills, and market factors
