This position will work with West Fraser team members to develop a world-class EH&S culture, ensuring environmental compliance and eliminating workplace injuries.

???? What You’ll Own:

• Lead with culture. Partner with team members and leaders to build a world-class EHS culture rooted in engagement, awareness, and trust.

• Be the go-to. Act as the site’s primary EHS authority- driving initiatives independently with full ownership.

• Champion compliance. Ensure full compliance with OSHA General Industry Standards and environmental regulations at all levels.

• Coach and train. Facilitate engaging EHS training that resonates with our teams, from new hire orientation to specialized hazard training.

• Drive incident prevention. Lead hazard assessments, incident investigations, and proactive safety planning.

• Measure what matters. Track, analyze, and report EHS performance, and drive continuous improvement through data and insight.

• Support well-being. Provide first aid and support health initiatives like screenings, conservation efforts, and education programs.

• Proven experience leading EHS efforts in a manufacturing environment
• A strong grasp of OSHA and environmental regulations
• Confidence in presenting, training, and influencing across all levels
• Leadership mindset — proactive, solution-oriented, and calm under pressure
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfort with Microsoft Office tools and digital recordkeeping
