Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, support access control, and document activity with clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by following site-specific security-related procedures, access controls, and/or emergency response activities.
• Carry and maintain authorized firearm and required equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policy, post orders, and applicable laws and/or licensing requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
• Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, disturbances, and/or critical incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or law enforcement as needed.
• Complete incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate status updates and/or notable observations to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have prior military and honorable DD214 discharge, prior law enforcement or Criminal Justice degree for hiring consideration
• Provide proof of high school diploma/GED as required by the client.
• Be 21+ Years of Age.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
