General manager
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Truck General Manager to oversee all aspects of daily operations, financial performance, customer satisfaction, and team leadership. The Truck General Manager will be responsible for driving sales, maintaining operational excellence, managing staff, ensuring compliance with company policies, and delivering exceptional service while maximizing profitability. Key Responsibilities Operations Management Oversee all day-to-day truck operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and consistency. Maintain company standards for cleanliness, safety, food quality, and customer service. Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering to minimize waste and control costs. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Leadership & Team Development Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members and supervisors. Create employee schedules based on business needs and labor targets. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback. Foster a positive, professional, and accountable work environment. Financial Management Manage labor, food, and operating costs to meet profitability goals. Review sales reports, budgets, and financial statements. Identify opportunities to increase revenue and improve operational efficiency. Ensure accurate cash handling and daily financial reporting. Customer Experience Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service. Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally. Develop strategies to increase customer loyalty and repeat business. Maintain high standards for guest satisfaction and brand reputation. Sales & Business Growth Drive sales through community engagement, marketing initiatives, and promotional events. Build relationships with local businesses, vendors, and event organizers. Analyze business trends and implement strategies to achieve growth targets. Qualifications 3+ years of management experience, preferably in food service, hospitality, mobile operations, or retail. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Experience managing budgets, labor costs, and inventory. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred. Preferred Skills Experience managing food trucks, mobile businesses, or multi-unit operations. Knowledge of food safety and health department regulations. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency with POS systems and scheduling software.
