Industrial Maintenance Technician

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment, machinery, and facility systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Install, align, and calibrate new machinery and production equipment.

• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and PLC ladder logic.

• Maintain and update maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment records.

• Assist with root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and increase reliability.

• Support compliance with OSHA, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Collaborate with production teams to minimize disruptions and improve equipment performance.

• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance needs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field preferred.

• 3+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.

• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.

• Experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens) and automated systems preferred.

• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.

• Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, bend, and work in confined spaces.

• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts as required.
