International Specialist II

: Overview This position supports International Banking Services in the execution of daily operating activities. Provides service to customers, merchants, and vendors by resolving issues and answering inquiries. Handles foreign cash items, banknotes, and international wire transaction requests to enhance workflow efficiencies, and identifies opportunities to generate revenue for the Bank. Ensures compliance with banking regulations. Assists management in more complex duties such as examination of trade documents, drafts, and wire transfers. May occasionally guide less experienced associates or workflow for group. Responsibilities

• Processing - Reviews, processes and examines transaction requests, including the preparation of trade services documentation and cash item delivery. Ensures authentication of request and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Service & Support - Coordinates with both internal and external parties to achieve business goals and streamline service experience. Determines target needs and provides resolution. Performs data entry, reporting, and analysis as necessary. Assists in handling escalated and complex servicing issues.
• Reconciliation - Monitors balance of cash items in system. Verifies accounts and investigates discrepancies, addressing imbalances by timely processing of any fees, payments, or returns.
• Currency Proficiency - Maintains knowledge in area of work. Inspects foreign cash items or transactions for accuracy. May ensure competitive rates for Bank currency exchange.
