We're seeking a full-time Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our occupational therapy team. About the Role
As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you'll work with children of all ages and abilities to help them develop the skills needed for success at home, school, and in the community. You'll evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs that improve independence, confidence, and quality of life in a fun, engaging, and family-centered environment.
What You'll Do
- Help children through delivering OT in our 4000 sq-ft sensory clinic, private/charter schools, and on occasion within the community.
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to identify each child's unique strengths and needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on fine motor development, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, self-regulation, executive functioning, feeding, and activities of daily living.
- Provide engaging, evidence-based therapy that motivates children while achieving meaningful functional outcomes.
- Help children develop independence with dressing, feeding, grooming, toileting, handwriting, play, and school participation.
- Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, teachers, physicians, and other therapy professionals to ensure coordinated, family-centered care.
- Maintain accurate documentation, treatment plans, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
- Educate and empower families through home programs and practical strategies that support continued progress.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Create and lead specialty therapeutic groups.

Qualifications
Required
- Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
- Current North Carolina Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Exceptional time management
Preferred
- Pediatric occupational therapy experience
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, sensory processing differences, developmental delays, neurological diagnoses, or other disabilities
- Knowledge of sensory integration, feeding, executive functioning, reflex integration, motor learning theory, and activities of daily living
- Experience collaborating with schools and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
