As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine foot patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and/or incidents, support access control, and provide professional customer service and clear communication with team members and visitors. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and public areas, verify authorization for entry when required, and assist with visitor and contractor check-in per site-specific requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document actions taken and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
- Complete detailed reports and logs, maintain awareness of cash-handling and high-value areas, and communicate observations to management and/or law enforcement when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
