Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialty retail pharmacy is seeking a Staff Pharmacist with experience in sterile and non-sterile compounding for a 13-week assignment with a chance for direct hire. This role offers a structured daytime schedule, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break, creating an ideal balance for personal and professional life.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications, including sterile and non-sterile compounded products
- Utilize PK pharmacy software (similar to QS1); training provided
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
- Provide excellent patient education and consultation on medication therapies
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active North Carolina pharmacy license required
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience
- Experience in sterile and/or non-sterile compounding is highly desirable
- Ability to adapt to a specialty retail environment
- Comfortable using pharmacy order entry systems, with training offered
