Senior Data Replication Engineer

Kelaca is looking for a Senior Data Replication Engineer for our client partner in Raleigh, NC . You have deep DBA experience to design, run, and scale enterprise data replication across hybrid environments. You will own Qlik Replicate end to end across cloud and on-prem, support mainframe replication, and drive performance, reliability, and compliance for mission-critical data flows.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain data replication strategies using Qlik Replicate across AWS, on-prem, and mainframe
• Lead migration from on-prem Qlik Replicate to Qlik Cloud
• Design, implement, and support QLIK ARC Attunity Replicate Connect
• Provide mainframe replication support with Qlik solutions
• Build and support batch and real-time replication, including CDC and light ETL for replication use cases
• Monitor and tune databases, replication tasks, and reporting services for performance and availability
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for data and replication issues
• Plan and execute upgrades, patching, and migrations for replication tools including Qlik and Oracle GoldenGate
• Create and maintain documentation for database and replication architecture, configurations, and processes
• Partner with data governance, security, and compliance to ensure protection of data and regulatory alignment
• Collaborate with business and engineering teams on replication, light ETL, and CDC patterns
• Provide daily production support for database replication environments and core server DBA functions

Skills and Experience :

• Associate degree and 6+ years as a SQL Server DBA in an enterprise data center environment -- or -- High School Diploma or GED and 10+ years as a SQL Server DBA in an enterprise data center environment
• 5+ years hands-on with Qlik Replicate in hybrid environments
• 2+ years with Qlik Cloud and experience migrating from on-prem to cloud
• Proven experience supporting mainframe replication with Qlik
• Strong performance tuning across databases, replication tasks, and reporting services
• Experience with virtualization of database platforms and environments
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and provide 24x7 production support as needed
• Clear written and verbal communication and a team-first mindset

Preferred Qualifications :

• Oracle GoldenGate replication experience 23AI preferred
• Oracle Veridata for data comparison a plus
• Experience replicating across heterogeneous databases and multiple datacenters on-prem and cloud
• Tableau, QlikView, or Power BI exposure
• VMWare experience for virtualized databases
• ServiceNow and familiarity with ITIL processes
• SDLC experience in regulated or enterprise environments
• Relevant certifications are a plus
