As a Security Officer Patrol Access Control in Morrisville, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff through outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, while assisting with visitor direction and general information requests.
  • Support a professional environment by observing for potential hazards, disruptions, and/or policy violations and communicating appropriate information for follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
