IMMEDIATELY HIRING MIG WELDERS IN HIGH POINT / ASHEBORO AREA

Pay: $22+/hour

Shift: 1st - 6AM-4:30PM MON-THURS + OT AVAILABLE ON FRIDAYS

You’ll start at the High Point facility, with operations, THEN MOVE TO NEW ASHEBORO LOCATION LATE SUMMER 2026.

STRONG CANDIDATES HAVE:

• 1+ YEARS OF MIG (GMAW)
• BLUEPRINT READING EXPERIENCE
• SOME FABRICATION EXPERIENCE
• ABILITY TO COMPLETE 3G AND 4G MIG WELDS ON CARBON THAT CAN PASS A BREAK / BEND TEST.

Job Description

Responsibilities include MIG welding carbon steel, structural welding in 3G and 4G positions, and using various tools effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on carbon steel.
• Conduct structural welding in 3G and 4G positions.
• Utilize hand and power tools proficiently.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols by wearing appropriate PPE such as steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and long pants.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG welding and structural welding.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.
• Mechanically inclined with a good understanding of construction.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior construction experience is beneficial.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Experience in fabrication, sheet metal, and assembly is advantageous.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Asheboro, NC.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
