Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS before start date BLS before start date PALS before start date TNCC before start date CPI before start date NIHSS before start date ENPC within 90 days of hire Must-Have: 2 years of experience in a Level II trauma center or comprehensive stroke center 1 year of experience in an Emergency Department setting Ability to work as part of a team Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. The facility is known for its commitment to positive impact on the community. It has received multiple accolades for clinical quality and safety. The Emergency Department typically has a patient ratio of 4:1, increasing to 7:1 for behavioral holds. There are various equipment types used, including pumps and monitors. Documentation is done using a specified system. Every other weekend commitment is required, with flexibility in scheduling.
