Product Manager

OVERVIEW
The Project Manager, Product Launch & Operations will lead cross-functional initiatives that support new product development, product testing programs, operational improvements, and company-wide project execution.
This individual will partner closely with leadership, sales, marketing, customer experience, operations, compliance, and product development teams to ensure projects move from concept to completion on time and with clear accountability.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities evolve and multiple initiatives are moving simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Execution
• Lead and manage multiple concurrent projects across departments
• Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and accountability structures
• Coordinate communication between teams to ensure projects stay on track
• Identify roadblocks, risks, and dependencies and proactively develop solutions
• Facilitate project meetings, track action items, and drive follow-through
• Create visibility into project status through reporting and dashboards
Product Launch Coordination
• Manage the execution of new product launches from concept through market release
• Coordinate efforts between leadership, marketing, operations, sales, customer service, and compliance teams
• Ensure product launch timelines, deliverables, and dependencies are clearly defined
• Assist with market research and competitive analysis to support product development decisions
Product Testing & Consumer Feedback Programs
• Develop and manage product testing groups and consumer feedback initiatives
• Coordinate sample distribution, data collection, and feedback analysis
• Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership
• Help translate customer insights into actionable product improvements
Process Improvement & SOP Development
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across departments
• Establish scalable workflows that improve efficiency and communication
• Identify opportunities to streamline operations and eliminate bottlenecks
• Help create systems that allow projects and initiatives to build upon one another as the company grows
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Serve as the central hub connecting teams and ensuring alignment
• Support strategic initiatives and special projects as assigned by leadership
• Foster collaboration and accountability across all areas of the business

Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of Project Management experience
• Proven success managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience creating project plans, timelines, SOPs, and process documentation
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets proficiency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience presenting recommendations, project updates, and business cases to leadership teams
• Ability to work independently and drive projects forward with minimal oversight
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting product launches or product development initiatives
• Background in cannabis, CBD, vape/e-cigarette, alternative medicine, supplements, CPG, or other regulated industries
• Experience coordinating customer testing programs or market research initiatives
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Monday.com, ClickUp, Jira, or similar platforms
• Experience working in high-growth startup environments
