Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job Details

• Location: Burlington, Massachusetts (01803) – Greater Boston area
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Assignment Type: Locum tenens, travel nursing contract
• Start Date: September 8, 2025
• End Date: December 6, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts (7:00am – 5:30pm), 40 hours/week
• On-Call: Weekend and weekday on-call required
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $3,000 – $3,080

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license (required)
• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
• Minimum 1 year recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience; 3-5 years preferred
• Proficiency with diagnostic caths, interventions, Rotablator, IVUS, FFR, and hemodynamics
• IABP and Impella experience required
• ECMO experience preferred
• Experience in all Cath Lab and/or EP roles highly preferred (sedation, monitor, circulator, scrub)
• EP Lab experience preferred
• Previous ICU or ED nursing experience preferred
• RCIS certification preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required
• Local candidates not accepted; must not have worked at any Beth Israel facility in the past 6 months

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Deliver expert nursing care for cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology patients
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures (Rotablator, IVUS, FFR, IABP, Impella)
• Monitor patient status and respond to emergencies
• Rotate through all Cath Lab roles: sedation, monitoring, circulating, scrubbing
• Participate in on-call coverage (weekdays and weekends)
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital protocols and safety standards
