Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: 2+ years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - 2 years nursing experience - Experience working with trach patients Description: Data Collection: Unit Information Location: Asheville Number of Beds: 23 step down, 16 med surg Type of Staff: Day Shift: 1 charge, 11 RNs, 4 PCTs Night Shift: 1 charge, 10 RNs, 4 PCTs Patient Ratios: 1:3-4 step down, 1:4-6 med surg Type of Equipment: lifts, chest tubes, cardiac drips, stable vented patients, trachs EMR: Cerner Typical Hiring Profile: Skill Set Most Recruited For: - Must have the required experience; candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Preferred or Nice to Have: - Previous experience with Cerner Typical Procedures Performed on Unit: - Trach care - Chest tubes - Wound dressing changes Best Personality Fit: - Flexibility and high level of clinical competence Floating Area(s): - Other med surg and progressive care units Dress Code: - Scrub Color/Attire: Navy blue Unit Guidelines/Policies: - Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
