About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Greensboro, North Carolina, 27401!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience License: Current nursing license in hand required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - EKG exam required for all RNs, regardless of specialty - Epic charting system experience required Description: The position involves providing nursing care in a rehabilitation environment. Candidates are expected to manage patient assessments and care plans. The role includes medication reconciliation and monitoring vital signs. Interpretation of laboratory results is required. Dressing changes and setup of aseptic/sterile procedure trays are part of the duties. Candidates should be able to label specimens accurately and perform phlebotomy. Telephone triage and pharmacy calls/patient refill requests may be necessary. Experience with patients with CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injuries, and neurological diagnoses is preferred. The work environment is an inpatient rehab department focusing on specialized care. Travelers must be flexible with scheduling. Candidates are subject to float between facilities as needed. The nurse-patient ratio is generally 1:6. Candidates should possess skills in dysrhythmia interpretation. All travelers must comply with clinical protocols and requirements.
