Location : Mt Airy, NC
Employment Type : Full-Time
Compensation : $60,000–$66,000 base + 10% target bonus (historically paid 9 out of the last 10 years)
Experience Level : Entry-Level (No prior experience required)

About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a leading manufacturer in the engineered structural mesh space to find a motivated engineer ready to launch their career. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with a background in Civil Engineering and a knack for technical detail. You’ll play a critical role in transforming custom concrete reinforcement orders into actionable engineering plans using CAD and proprietary tools.

What You’ll Do
• Convert rebar designs into engineered structural mesh (ESM) using CAD and spreadsheets
• Prepare shop drawings and takeoffs to support sales and manufacturing teams
• Collaborate with engineers to restructure custom orders (Cast and Place)
• Travel occasionally with sales teams to provide technical support
• Participate in industry association activities and contribute to product development

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Basic working knowledge of CAD and spreadsheet tools
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
