Residential Window and Door Installer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window and Door Installer to join our construction team for new home builds. The installer will be responsible for the accurate and efficient installation of windows and doors, ensuring all work meets industry standards, safety protocols, and client expectations. The role requires a strong understanding of construction plans, building codes, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of installation techniques and have experience with various tools and materials used in the process. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship are essential for success in this position.

salary: $47,000 - $52,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation: Install windows and doors in new residential constructions according to architectural plans, specifications, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Measurement and Fitment: Measure openings accurately and ensure proper fit of doors and windows, including handling adjustments as needed.
• Sealing and Insulation: Apply weatherproofing, insulation, and sealants to ensure windows and doors are energy-efficient and weather-tight.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others on-site.
• Problem-Solving: Identify any potential issues with materials or installation and resolve them efficiently to ensure the highest quality of work.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with construction supervisors, builders, and other tradespeople to ensure that windows and doors are installed at the correct stages of the build.
• Tool Usage: Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively to perform installations.
• Quality Control: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company standards and client satisfaction.
