Inside Sales Representative - Charlotte, NC

EMS is seeking a motivated, results-driven Sales Representative with industry experience in metals, aluminum, or related fields to join our team on-site in Charlotte, NC . This role is responsible for building strong relationships with both new and existing customers to drive account growth. The ideal candidate is ambitious, customer-focused, and has a proven track record of success in sales, combined with a solid understanding of the industry.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers by phone, email, and written correspondence to deliver excellent service and strengthen relationships.
• Prepare and maintain accurate quotes, sales orders, contracts, and related documentation.
• Establish rapport with customers to identify and address current and future needs.
• Generate leads through cold calling, convert prospects into customers, and follow up on sales opportunities.
• Track and report on sales activity through call reports and regular sales summaries.
• Collaborate with team members to support growth initiatives and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inside sales or B2B sales environment required.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with CRM software and Accuterm preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong math and analytical skills.
