Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners and collaborating with a dedicated speech team. This position offers the chance to serve preK-5th grade students, working closely with another experienced Speech-Language Pathologist at a vibrant elementary school. With a caseload of approximately 35-40 students, you’ll help foster communication skills vital for academic and social success.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP - CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering direct therapy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to partner with staff, students, and families
- Enthusiasm for working with a diverse student group from preK through fifth grade
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and group speech-language therapy to students across varying abilities
- Evaluate, assess, and document each student’s progress, updating IEP goals as needed
- Collaborate with the current SLP, teachers, and support staff to create effective intervention plans
- Serve as a resource to families and educational teams on speech-language needs and strategies
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation and adhere to all school, state, and federal requirements
