Electrical Estimator
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately assessing the cost of electrical projects from inception to completion. Your primary duties will include reviewing project specifications, interpreting blueprints, and collaborating with various stakeholders to gather necessary information for precise estimations. The ideal person will have experience estimating electrical projects in the $1-2M range and expect to estimate $100M+ worth of projects in the first year.
Responsibilities:

• Review project specifications, blueprints, and other documents to understand project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimations.
• Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to develop comprehensive project estimates.
• Utilize estimating software and tools to prepare detailed cost breakdowns and proposals- Accubid and proprietary software
• Provide timely and accurate cost estimates for bidding purposes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, construction costs, and material prices.
• Monitor and track project costs throughout the project lifecycle, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
• Collaboration with other estimators

Qualifications:

• Electrical estimation experience surrounding MV cabling, conduit, duct banks, etc on large commercial and industrial projects including hospitals, healthcare facilities, data centers, universities, distribution centers, and/or large mixed use commercial developments.
• Experience bidding off of one-line diagrams and civil packages
• Additional estimating experience surrounding asphalt, sidewalks, and other civil structures a plus
• Technical understanding and proficiency

Salary, Location, Benefits:

• Salary based upon experience $90,000-110,000.
• In office in Raleigh NC for 45 hours a week
