Clinical Lab Technologist

Job Title: Clinical Lab TechnologistJob Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Clinical Lab Technologist at our laboratory in Raleigh, NC. The Clinical Lab Technologist will perform various tasks including blood chemistry and hematology tests, implementing quality control procedures, and ensuring proper usage and maintenance of laboratory equipment. Responsibilities + Perform blood chemistry and hematology tests. + Implement and adhere to quality control procedures. + Ensure proper usage and maintenance of laboratory equipment. + Record and analyze laboratory data accurately. + Calibrate laboratory equipment according to protocols. + Follow established laboratory protocols and safety guidelines. Essential Skills + Proficiency in medical technology, particularly in blood chemistry and hematology. + Experience with quality control procedures and practices. + Strong laboratory skills, including handling samples, conducting tests, and maintaining accurate records. + Knowledge of laboratory medicine principles and practices. + Proficiency in handling, calibrating, and maintaining laboratory equipment. + Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. + Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. + Certification as a Medical Technologist or equivalent. + Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Abbott - Alinity CI, Ruby Cell Dyn, Sysmex CA660, Mini iSED, and other relevant methodologies. + Experience in hospital or clinical blood-based laboratory environments. + A degree in a relevant field such as BS MT, MLT in clinical biology, biochemistry, or a related discipline. + Experience working in a research laboratory or clinical setting is highly desirable. + Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independent problem-solving skills. Work Environment This position is based on-site at the new laboratory in Raleigh, NC. The role requires working with advanced laboratory equipment and adhering to safety and procedural standards within a hospital or clinical blood-based laboratory environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
