PrideStaff is actively seeking a skilled and motivated Label Operator for a 3rd Shift position with a leading manufacturing company in Hendersonville. Job Summary:

As a Label Operator, you will be an essential part of our production team, responsible for efficiently operating 1-2 production line labelers. You'll work in a dynamic setting that requires close attention to detail and the ability to adapt to many changes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Master the setup and operation of production label machines following established procedures.
• Utilize advanced computer-controlled labeling equipment to handle various bottle sizes with precision.
• Control and adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and timeliness in completing tasks.
• Become proficient in all machine controls and understand the critical role of safety switches and devices.
• Perform and meticulously record all required quality checks and documentation.
• Execute proper label changes and documentation according to standard operating procedures.
• Adjust glue application and label components for optimal performance.
• Maintain the cleanliness of all labeler parts.
• Effectively clear jams and re-time the machine to minimize downtime.
• Monitor and adjust the flow of bottles through the labeling process.
• Perform seamless changeovers of labeling equipment for different bottle sizes.
• Set up and change cap coding equipment, including computer work for scanning and data entry.
• Become proficient in assigned labeler maintenance tasks and complete necessary documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with company standards.
• Train new employees to help them succeed in their roles.
• Be accountable for food safety, food quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Be encouraged to report any actual or potential food safety issues to management.
• Adopt and maintain all SQF requirements for your position.
• Contribute to other related duties as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED Equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task effectively.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Experience in the food/beverage industry is a significant plus.
• Possess consultative, influential, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
