Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A registered nurse with specialized skills in perioperative care is needed for a contract opportunity in Concord, NC. This role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care in an operating room environment within a Level 3 Trauma center managing approximately 50 cases daily. The position demands a dynamic professional comfortable handling a wide range of surgical specialties, including trauma, orthopedic trauma, total joint replacements, spine, cardiovascular, gynecology, gynecological oncology, robotics, general surgery, hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB), bariatrics, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, pain management, and plastic surgery.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in operating room nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for North Carolina
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing diverse surgical procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection control protocols
• Manage surgical instruments and supplies efficiently
• Participate in weekend on-call rotation

Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts
• 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 hours per week
