Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Nights in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents, and respond to situations with calm, clear communication. You will complete routine patrols, document observations, and deliver welcoming customer service to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to financial institution staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal policies, licensing requirements, and post orders, including maintaining control of assigned weapon and related equipment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifications, and documenting events per policy.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, offices, ATM areas, drive-up lanes, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verify credentials when required, and report hazards, maintenance issues, and policy violations through the proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
