TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Greensboro, North Carolina, 27401!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Interpretation of laboratory results - Medication reconciliation - Vital signs assessment - Dressing changes - Capillary blood draws and specimen labeling - Telephone triage and pharmacy communication Description: The Registered Nurse will work in the inpatient rehabilitation department. The focus will be on specialized care for patients with rehabilitation needs. Patient populations may include those recovering from strokes, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and other neurological conditions. The nurse will provide care to an appropriate patient ratio. Responsibilities include the interpretation of dysrhythmias and EKG readings. The nurse will engage in telephone triage and manage patient refill requests. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including phlebotomy, respiratory services, and social services, will be part of the role. Floating between campuses may be required. The position includes rotations for weekend and holiday shifts as needed. Candidates should possess experience in acute care rehab. A Pass/Fail EKG exam is required during compliance, and candidates are allowed two attempts. Prior experience is essential, and first-time travelers are not accepted.
