Title:
Senior Program Management Specialist

KBR is seeking a Senior Program Management Specialist to support the day‑to‑day execution and operational effectiveness of the AvPLM Integrated Product Team (IPT). Serving as the Deputy IPT Operations Lead, this role partners closely with the IPT Lead to ensure operational alignment with program strategy, contractual commitments, and stakeholder expectations. The position plays a critical role in enabling disciplined execution across a complex, multi‑stakeholder government program environment. The successful candidate will drive process rigor, risk management, and coordination across functional teams to support reliable delivery and continuous improvement. This role offers the opportunity to influence execution outcomes on a high‑visibility aviation and product lifecycle management program.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Drive the development, implementation, and sustainment of IPT operational processes that enable consistent execution and measurable performance outcomes.
  • Partner with the IPT Lead to align daily operations with program strategy, contractual objectives, and governance requirements.
  • Establish and maintain execution rhythms, including planning forums, status reporting, and coordination meetings across functional teams.
  • Track and analyze resource utilization across personnel, tools, and funding to identify risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities.
  • Lead IPT‑level risk, issue, and opportunity management, ensuring disciplined identification, documentation, and mitigation execution.
  • Support change implementation by coordinating documentation, communication, and execution of approved operational changes.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that streamline workflows, reduce execution friction, and improve delivery predictability.
  • Prepare and coordinate leadership briefings, operational reports, and materials for program reviews and stakeholder engagements.
  • Enable effective communication and collaboration across internal teams and external stakeholders within a matrixed IPT environment.
Basic Qualifications
  • U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of War Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience supporting program operations, execution management, or IPT activities within a government or defense program environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with process definition, workflow management, or operational governance.
  • Experience supporting risk, issue, and action tracking using structured management processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Department of War aviation, enterprise IT, or product lifecycle management programs.
  • Experience working within matrixed, multi‑vendor, or multi‑organization IPT environments.
  • Background in program management, operations, or PMO support roles.
  • Prior experience serving in a deputy lead, operations lead, or execution support role.
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.

KBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include a 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule. We support career advancement through professional training and development.
