About the Role:
Advance Concrete is looking for an Outside Sales Manager for our Cutting & Demolition Division that is a driven, relationship focused salesperson. This vital role is responsible for all aspects of the sales process including developing relationships, assessing risk, and winning new projects for the division. Candidate has potential to manage sales team depending on experience and skillset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage lasting relationships with a diverse customer base including general contractors, MEP subs, demo subs, concrete subs and DOT contractors.
- Develop leads and submit quotes.
- Ensure competitiveness of bids by tracking and following up on previously submitted proposals.
- Understand and convey project scope and customer expectations to operations to ensure AC can successfully meet project requirements.
- Track costs and identify overages, then communicate with operations to take corrective actions to maximize profits and adjust future pricing if applicable.
- Coordinate change orders with operations, then manage documentation and approval process with customers.
- To ensure communications with customers are accurate, professional, timely and well documented.
- To manage and ensure accuracy of timely customer billings including potential change orders.
Ideal Qualifications & Skills:
- At least 3 years of construction related sales experience is ideal.
- Prefer established contact base of General, MEP, Demolition, and DOT contractors.
- Required good communication skills especially in follow-up with customers.
- Strong work ethic and well organized.
- Previous concrete or concrete cutting experience not required, new hire will be trained and give substantial support to learn the division’s means and methods .
Other Details:
- Role will involve regular travel to customer offices, jobsites, and bid “walk-thrus”. Company will provided company vehicle and gas card for business use.
- Position is full time, salaried and pay will be based on experience level.
