Graphic Designer
The Student Designer will create visual assets that support the goals and deliverables of the Riipen experiential learning project. This role involves working closely with the Project Manager, student team, and partner organization to develop engaging, brand-aligned designs for digital and/or print materials. The designer will bring creative ideas to life while ensuring all visuals meet professional standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Creation
- Develop graphics, layouts, and visual concepts based on project requirements.
- Produce assets for social media, presentations, reports, and other project deliverables.
- Brand Alignment
- Follow the partner organization’s brand guidelines (colors, fonts, logo usage, etc.).
- Ensure consistency and visual quality across all materials.
- Collaboration
- Work with the Project Manager and team members to understand design needs and priorities.
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute new ideas.
- Revisions & Feedback
- Incorporate feedback from the team, faculty mentor, and partner organization.
- Maintain organized design files for easy sharing and updates.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program (design, marketing, communications, or related field preferred).
- Creativity and an eye for detail.
- Strong skills in design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent).
- Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively in a team setting.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with ClickUp or other project management tools.
- Understanding of digital media formats and best practices.
- Basic knowledge of typography, layout, and color theory.
