Certified Prosthetic Orthotist (CPO)

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Certified Prosthetic Orthotist (CPO) to join our patient-centered team in Gastonia, NC. This full-time opportunity is ideal for licensed prosthetists/orthotists passionate about restoring mobility and independence for patients. In this role, you will evaluate, design, and fit custom prosthetic and orthotic devices, collaborating closely with physicians, therapists, and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations and develop tailored prosthetic and orthotic care plans in Gastonia, NC.
• Design, fabricate, and fine-tune devices to enhance comfort, functionality, and mobility.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and clinical teams to coordinate seamless patient care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on proper device use, maintenance, and safety.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies to meet functional goals.
• Maintain precise and compliant clinical documentation.
• Provide empathetic, patient-focused care consistently.

Requirements

• Licensed Prosthetist/Orthotist or eligible for licensure in North Carolina.
• ABC or BOC certification in prosthetics and orthotics.
• Previous clinical experience in prosthetics and orthotics preferred.
• Strong skills in clinical reasoning, patient education, and communication.
• Dedication to improving patient outcomes through personalized, high-quality care.
