Sales Director - US Market

The Role:
As Senior Sales Leader for North America, you will own our US market expansion from Raleigh, NC—developing and executing go-to-market strategy, building a high-performance sales organization, and shaping our long-term market presence. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll lead revenue growth, shape culture, and lay the foundation for scaling our North American operation. As the US operation scale, the role could evolve.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive Revenue Growth : Develop and execute winning sales strategies that deliver against ambitious revenue targets.
- Build a High-Performance Team : Recruit, lead, mentor, and coach a high-performing team of SDRs and Account Executives.
- Enable Sales Excellence: Implement best-in-class processes, training, and guidance.
- Lead with Data: Use CRM and market insights to accurately forecast sales, identify trends, and manage pipelines.
- Expand Key Relationships: Build and maintain strong partnerships to accelerate growth.
- Collaborate for Impact : Work cross-functionally with marketing on lead generation strategies.
- Stay Ahead of the Market: Monitor industry developments and competitor moves.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 7+ years in sales, including 3+ years in a leadership role, with a proven record of exceeding revenue targets.
- Leadership: Skilled in recruiting, motivating, and scaling sales teams.
- Strategic Thinking: Able to connect sales execution to broader business objectives.
- CRM Proficiency: Experienced with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred).
- Industry Knowledge: Experience and strong personal interest in sports, sports tech, or/and SaaS is a strong plus.
- Competitive Advantage: Experience at a US-based sports software competitor is highly valued.
- Mindset: Ambitious, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and collaborative.
- Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Raleigh, NC.
