Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU
- Deliver essential nursing care to patients with various diagnoses such as Stroke R/O, PNA, and COPD
- Administer medications and manage cardiac rhythms and central lines
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Assist with wound care and perform dressing changes
- Effectively utilize EMR systems for documentation
Requirements of the RN - PCU
- Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- At least 18 months of PCU experience
- Proficiency in critical nursing skills including cardiac monitoring and wound care
