Senior Project Engineer
Landia has been innovating pump and mixer solutions since 1933, and they are just getting started. As they continue to grow the business in the U.S., we are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join the team. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will move through the full lifecycle of projects: from initial customer request, through proposal, drawings and submittals to final sign-off and long-term support. Project management is a core part of the role, tracking multiple concurrent projects, coordinating across departments and delivering technical solutions, and it requires strong collaboration and relationship building with customers, consulting engineers, internal teams and global colleagues.
What You Will Do:
- Build deep knowledge of Landia’s product line and apply that knowledge to select and apply solutions for customers’ unique challenges.
- Take ownership of the technical aspects of proposals, drawings, submittals and technical documentation.
- Prioritize and multitask effectively, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting critical deadlines.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal teams to analyze field operational data and provide both immediate and long-term resolutions.
- Engage in the project lifecycle from initial inquiry through project completion and follow-up.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical, chemical, environmental, industrial engineering or a similar technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in application engineering, process engineering, project management, inside technical sales or similar roles.
- Experience or exposure in the wastewater treatment industry (municipal or industrial) is a strong plus.
- Mechanical awareness such as familiarity with pumps, motors and process equipment is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
