About the Role:
Join Veritas Environmental Services LLC as a Day Porter on the 1st shift or 2nd shift, where you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities. This position is perfect for those who enjoy a dynamic work environment and take pride in their contribution to a clean and safe workplace. Weekends are required, making it ideal for those looking to balance work and personal commitments.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of assigned areas including restrooms, hallways, and common spaces.
- Restock supplies such as paper products and cleaning materials to ensure facilities are well-equipped.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down meeting spaces for events and gatherings.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations while performing duties.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to coordinate tasks.
- Support special projects and additional cleaning tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial services is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Availability to work weekends and flexible hours as needed.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.
