Business Immigration Associate Attorney

Key Qualifications

• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensure: Active Bar admission in good standing (NC preferred, or eligible for reciprocity).
• Experience: 4+ years of high-volume business immigration experience.
• Technical Expertise: Deep experience with employment-based visas, specifically NIV (Nonimmigrant Visas) and IV (Immigrant Visas).
• Skills: Proficiency in PERM applications, H-1B, L-1, TN, and E visas is required.
• Attributes: Exceptional writing, organizational, and research skills; ability to manage a heavy caseload with precision.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive immigration strategies for corporate clients to facilitate the international transfer of skilled personnel.
• Manage the end-to-end filing process for a wide range of employment-based petitions (NIV and IV).
• Provide high-level legal counsel to employers on compliance, PERM labor certification, and regulatory changes.
• Direct and mentor paralegal staff to ensure the highest quality of work product and client service.
• Conduct complex legal research and draft persuasive filings for various government agencies.
